Glenn L. Widom, P.A. Partner Helps Raise Over $472,000 for Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America

The 2011 Sabadell United Keymorada Invitational Fishing Tournament to benefit The Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America, co-chaired by Partner Glenn Widom, raised more than $472,000.

The Tournament is the brainchild of Glenn and his brother Mitch, who have co-chaired the event since 2005 after Glenn’s niece, Taylor, was diagnosed with Crohn’s. In only seven years, thanks to the incredible support of the Tournament’s Sponsors, Participants and Guides, the Keymorada has raised over $2.5 million for the CCFA.

Rob Ruwitch of Miami is the 2011 Krieger Keymorada Grand Champion and in addition to a beautiful trophy from King Sailfish Mounts and a Kreiger Lunar Chronometer, received an invitation to the prestigious IGFA Championship Series. Captain Steve Leopold, from Holiday Isle Marina in Islamorada, received top honors as the 2011 Keymorada Grand Champion Guide. The Top Fly Angler was Andy Yaffa of Miami. Top Fly Guide honors were taken by Captain Kris Suplee of Montana.

The Tournament is held each year during the second week of May. This year’s event was hosted at the beautiful Cheeca Lodge & Spa in Islamorada.

If you’re interested in fishing, participating as a Law Firm Challenger or as a Tournament Sponsor, more information can be found on the Tournament’s website at www.keymoradafishing.com or by e-mailing Glenn Widom at gwidom at the domain gwidomlaw dot com.
